As a registered historic building we do not have an elevator so pack lightly! We have three floors of bedrooms and staff will be happy to assist with luggage on the stairs.

We have washers and dryers which are available from 3pm until 10:00pm daily. It costs $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry and accepts quarters, one dollar and two dollar coins. Detergent is available free of charge.

A towel will be provided on your bed upon check in. If you need a fresh one bring the old one down and a staff member will give you a replacement.

We have a secure luggage storage room in the downstairs area which is open everyday from 7am until 12am. Luggage can be stored here free of charge and only staff have access to the room. We also have space underneath the beds in the rooms for luggage and a smaller locker (with key provided free of charge) for valuables. Guests are asked to store larger items of luggage in the storage room rather than shared accommodation.

Our maximum stay is 14 nights. Guests can extend beyond this at a manager’s discretion but can only have 14 nights booked at a time.

We do not reserve specific beds unless it is for a medical reason. If it is communicated with us in advance we will do our best to give you a lower bunk wherever possible.

Cancellations must be made by 12pm the day before you wish to cancel. As long as the cancellation is made by this time the guest will not be charged or will be eligible for a refund.

The private rooms share a washroom with three other private rooms on the same floor.

Guests must be eighteen or older to stay in shared accommodation. Guests under eighteen can stay in a private room provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

All guests must provide a valid piece of government issued photographic ID upon check-in (so driver’s license, passport, national ID card, etc.) We cannot accept photos of IDs or student cards. Guests without valid ID will not be accepted into the hostel and charged for their stay. If you are not sure if your ID will be accepted please contact us in advance and we will let you know if it is acceptable.
